All of our coaching programs and peer support groups are inspired by personal recovery experience with mental illness.
The value of Dialectical Behavior Therapy-based skills is immense, and led to our use of them as a template for our peer-led curriculums. Reading and learning about these skills make up the educative portion of each coaching or group session.
Following the educative portion, your coach will assist you in applying the tools and skills that you’ve developed to real-life scenarios. A tool that works for one person may not work for another; we help you develop a long list of coping skills that are effective for YOU! Other discussions during sessions are devoted to examining past and present behavior; sharing experiences, successes, and failures; and receiving support and encouragement to value yourself as you are.
No matter what you’re struggling with, we are fully devoted to you and your recovery. You don’t have to go through this alone.
